Event: February 14 and 15 at the Lane Events Center in Eugene
You can experience the sights and sounds of Asia at the 30th Annual Oregon Asian Celebration February 14 and 15 at the Lane Events Center in Eugene. Pick up a free ticket by bringing your UO student ID to any Oregon Community Credit Union branch (while supplies last.)
The Asian Celebration is an opportunity to enjoy Asian culture through main stage performances of dance and music; exotic cuisine, martial arts, cooking, and crafts demonstrations; activities for youth, and a bustling marketplace featuring more than 75 vendors. You’ll also see a huge Duck presence at the celebration!
Doors open Saturday, February 14 at 10:00 a.m. with the Chinese Lion Dance followed by nonstop activities continuing throughout the day until 7:00 p.m., closing. Sunday also opens at 10:00 a.m. with the Chinese Lion Dance. The event concludes at 6:00 p.m. Without the free student ticket, general admission tickets are $6 for one day or $10 for two days; children ages 12 and under are free. Admission tickets can be purchased at any Oregon Community Credit Union or on the day of the event at the Lane Events Center.
