Student Government and Engagement Success

Student Government Engagement and Success (SGES) coordinates the operations, support, and continuity for the Associated Students of the University of Oregon (ASUO) student government association. The ASUO serves as the “dive in” point for student leadership and engagement at UO and in the greater community. The ASUO, through the student senate and executive, is responsible for recommending the allocation of approximately $17 million in student incidental fees through an annual budget process that requires the approval of the university president. Every UO student is a member of ASUO, and ASUO recognizes over 250 student organizations whose members interact with ASUO officials, staff, and policy on a regular basis.
