The EMU is getting bigger and better.
From 13th Avenue we’ve seen the pretty timber beams rising up to make the new student wing, but what all is happening with the EMU?
The EMU is undergoing a massive renovation inside and out to make the collaborative and community experiences we have there even better, to be improved by expanded student resource centers and tons of new group meeting spaces. And picture this: you can fix up your bike at the do-it-yourself repair shop, grab something to eat from new restaurants, check out the pub, and see a show at the theater—all in one beautiful new EMU!
We’ll see the majority of our new student union shining in the Oregon sun (or repelling rain) by
May 2016, and see it finished by Fall 2016.
Know that all Fishbowl dining services will close on March 21.
But don’t worry; food options will still be available near the EMU. Subway and Joe’s Burgers will both be offering food truck operations at the corner of 13th and University Street.
