The majority of students who consume alcohol do so for enjoyment, in moderation, and in a responsible, mature manner. Yet, some individuals consume alcohol in a harmful and unsafe manner. Students who engage in frequent or heavy drinking tend to experience negative consequences ranging from doing poorly on an exam or project, to receiving alcohol citations and getting injured.
