STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES (SSS)

Academic Learning Services provides a variety of support services to students including the Student Support Services program for nontraditional student who qualify. This program, a free university service, offers SSS students opportunities to work one on one with faculty members who provide academic support in the areas of math, writing, academic advising, effective study strategies including: time management, test prep and stress management. In addition, we offer free tutoring (math, languages and science), personal counseling, small classes and opportunities for scholarships and early registration. Perhaps our greatest service is providing direction and advocacy for students. SSS also acts as a resource to other UO offices/departments.
