2008 LAVENDER GRADUATION: NEW FORMAT! The 2008 Lavender Graduation Ceremony & Reception will be held on Thursday, June 12th at 5:00pm. The ceremony will be in the Knight Library Browsing Room, and the reception will immediately. The tentative program includes recognition of graduating students, awarding of rainbow tassels, and a reception. The reception will include cake, hors d'oeuvres, and refreshments for graduates and guests. CALLING ALL GRADUATING STUDENTS! New format for Lavender Graduation! The LGBT Education Support Services Office is looking for students who would like to participate in the 2008 Lavender Graduation Ceremony. The only requirement is that you be a Law graduate or undergraduate student of any degree who has or will be graduating Fall 2007, or Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall 2008. A cap and gown will not be required for the ceremony. Please plan to meet at the Knight Browsing Room between 4:45p.m.-5:00pm. New component: All graduating students should select a mentor, family member, friend or colleague to present them to the graduating class. These speakers will take a few minutes to highlight the achievements of the graduate and will help award tassels to their graduate. If you are interested in being a part of Lavender Graduation, register by filling out the Lavender Graduate Resistration Form by *Monday, May 15th.* Once received, we will confirm your space in the ceremony.
