. University of Oregon Parents Association
The UO Parents Association was established in 2005 to enhance programs and services provided to parents of UO undergraduate students. Parents join the Association for a one-time $50 membership fee that is utilized to provide an expanded array of programs, services and events for parents.

Membership in the Parent Association provides parents with individualized communication from the University; and the Association provides a vehicle for parent input and feedback to be provided back to campus.

Program elements include:
* enhanced communication/information
* monthly electronic newsletters
* invitations to quarterly Family Weekend events
* access to Family Football Day ticket lottery
* discounts from area businesses/merchants
* ability to serve on Association Council or as Area Representative or Officer

This event is for potential students and their families to visit campus and receive information in making the decision about attending the University of Oregon.

IntroDUCKtion
Parents of both new and transfer students are strongly encouraged to attend one of the Parent and Family Program seminars held during one of the July IntroDUCKtion sessions. The seminars directly address the most important concerns of new undergraduate families.

WOW (Week Of Welcome)
WOW kicks off the school year by allowing on-campus students to move into the residence halls and providing activities and events before the term begins.
