Information for Family and Friends

Graduation is a wonderful celebration of a well-deserved accomplishment. At the University of Oregon, we hope you, family and friends of the graduate, are able to share in this celebration and witness the final product of a meaningful experience. As Spring and Summer graduation approaches, many questions can arise in making plans for these special events. We hope the following information is useful as you plan on being a part of this significant occasion.

• Dates, locations and times of Spring Departmental Ceremonies
• There are no tickets required for the spring or summer graduation. Some departmental ceremonies may require tickets. Those individual departments may be contacted directly to provide that information.
• For the main ceremony in spring, all seating is a first-come, first-served basis. McArthur Court will open at 11:30am.
• If you are coming from out of town, you may want to take a look at the Visitors section for directions, a list of area hotels, and parking information.
• If you have additional questions, you may contact the Office of Student Life at 541-346-3216.
