The Erb Memorial Union (EMU) is the heart of campus. It’s your place to study, eat, and come together as a community. The EMU is also home to 250+ student groups, diverse cultural events, and everything else that makes the UO such a vibrant campus.

With—and within—the EMU, you can challenge yourself: learn to blow glass at the Craft Center, sign up for a rafting trip with Outdoor Programs, and grow as a leader in the Holden Center for Leadership and Community Engagement. There is also a host of services to help you succeed academically, including computer labs, connections to affordable childcare, and lots of places to study.

Connections happen here, at the EMU.

Under Construction

As our community grows, so too must its center. The EMU is currently undergoing a 95-million dollar renovation and expansion to better meet your expanding needs. The building is open during construction, and the grand reopening is currently scheduled for September 2016. To see all the great new things the EMU renovation will bring to campus, please visit the EMU renovation website.
