Counseling
The University Counseling Center provides excellent services
to all UO students. Specifically, the Counseling Center offers:
• Individual therapy
• Couples therapy
• Psychoeducational Group therapy
• Eating Disorders Program
• LDHD/ADD Assessment
• Substance Abuse Assessment
• Consultation
The following is information regarding how to access
the services of the counseling center:
• Come by the Counseling Center (2nd floor of the University
Health and Counseling Center).
• Bring Student ID (there is no additional charge to admitted
students, and we only provide services to students).
• Fill out necessary background paperwork, and then you will
see the counselor on duty.
• The first session is "drop in" and lasts 20-30
minutes. No appointment is necessary. It's "first come,
first served", so you might have to wait a short while.

term.
• Once you have the initial session, you may be assigned to
a counselor for individual services, assigned to a group for
group therapy, referred to another service in the community,
or placed on a waiting list for Center services.
