College Gambling

Throughout the country, gambling is viewed as an entertaining way for college students to have some social fun.  Whether it’s a poker tournament or a recreational sporting event, gambling has become a popular activity for many students. For the majority of students choosing to participate in gambling activities, there are few consequences.  However, 1 in every 20 college students will develop a gambling problem. For these students, there is the reality of academic, personal, and financial stress.
