Veterans and Family Student Association

The Veterans and Family Student Association is open to all student veterans, family members, and allies. The members of the Veterans and Family Student Association come together with strong belief in honor of their country, for those who have served, are serving, or will serve. The organization strives to create a community of veterans on campus and to help educate the student body and the public on personal sacrifices made by this nation's sons and daughters.

The VFSA is located in EMU Suite 2 and can be contact at (541) 346-4305 or vfsa@uoregon.edu.

University Veterans Work Group

The Veterans Work Group is made up of students, staff, faculty, and community members who come together to discuss and address student veteran concerns and how to support student veterans on campus. Those who are interested are invited to get involved.

The next Veteran Work Group meeting is: Friday, October 23rd from 12-1pm in EMU Century Room F.

  • Military Credit
  • Oregon Career Information System (CIS) creates, develops, and distributes career information to schools in Oregon. It can be used to help select majors, prepare for an interview, or to understand one's skills, interests and values and connect those to occupation options.
    • When accessed off campus the User Name is yellowducks. The password is greeneugene.
  • Military Jumpstart offers 30 days of free access to returning Oregon military personnel for career exploration.
  • Hedco Clinic in the College of Education provides a variety of services to children, adults and families in the local area. They have a dedicated "veteran's clinic" to provide cognitive rehabilitation for local vets who have concerns with attention, memory, learning, organization, or problem solving that interfere with daily functioning or school performance. Please call Lalla Pudewell at 346-0922 if you are interested in speaking to someone about the services offered.
