When is University Day?
University Day takes place every year during spring term. In 2010, University Day will take place on May 13 from 8:30am until 4:00pm.
How do I sign up to volunteer?
All interested volunteers sign up at the check-in booth on the Collier lawn at 13th and University (across from EMU) the day of the event. You can start helping out when you arrive or you can schedule a time to come back later in the day.
What are my duties as a volunteer?
Activities vary depending on when you arrive and where you are placed by our check-in committee. Volunteers usually are involved in planting flowers, spreading bark dust, and picking up litter.
Do I receive anything for volunteering?
Every student, staff and faculty member that volunteers at least an hour of their time will be given a FREE University Day t-shirt! On top of that, you’ll have that you’ll feel great about making a difference on campus.
